Nutmeg Knitters

Is everyone satiated after Stitches East? I can’t believe I would ever admit this, but after 4 days at Stitches East, I was “yarned out.” The last class I took was Estonian Patent Stitches. I think I had brain drain at that point, because my brain had a hard time digesting the info. I took the notes and will sit down with a cup of tea and casually rethink the technique. We are very lucky to have Stitches East in our backyard for the next 2 years and be able to meet and learn from top designers/teachers.

For our next meeting we will be sharing some of the tricks of the trade that we learned. I had an “ahh” moment that I will share. Hopefully other members that took a class will also share some of their “ahh” tidbits.

Well, back to my knitting. The list of ideas for holiday gifts is growing faster than I can knit them!
